First ride on the Adamo Racing saddle

Definitely a strong start for the Adamo. For the first time in my riding career, my sensitive soft tissues are free from constant mashing between a saddle and my pelvis. Sure, my sit bones have to get used to bearing weight but the discomfort is very small compared to mashmashmashmash. I could stay in aero as long as I wanted. The saddle was still comfortable when I sat up. My right foot didn't go numb like it usually does. I didn't have to keep shifting around to find a comfortable spot. Certain muscles in my legs felt the change but only time will tell if they will adapt. So far, nothing not to love.

Right now the main difference is that my weight is supported by the sit bones. When I'm in aero, some of the weight is transferred forward but the pressure runs next to the sensitive tissues instead of on top of them. The nose of the saddle is shorter and wider than I'm used to but it didn't cause any discomfort. In fact, the shorter nose eliminates a big source of my problems. After several years and a multitude of saddle tweaks by so called experts, I finally have hope.

Tomorrow will be the real test when we hit the road for 3 hours.

Good luck tomorrow.

I changed saddles about 2 years ago after the boy parts were numb for way to long after longer rides.
